So the venue is booked, the dress is sorted, you have finalised your guest list, table plans and wedding favours....... now it's time to arrange the entertainment
Unfortunately the above statement is true for most couples planning and organising their wedding. Wedding entertainment is often one of the last things on a long list of 'to-do's' to complete and is therefore not given the time and budget it deserves!
Good quality wedding entertainment can be the difference between your wedding being 'nice' and your wedding being remembered as amazing and as a standard other will try to emulate! When asked, wedding guests will remember three things from your wedding;-
1) The brides dress
2) The wedding entertainment
3) The quality of the food
However excellent the chair covers, wedding favours and room decor is, they will not stand out in the memories of your guests. It is for this reason that I would recommend prioritising in the same order.
Think about it your guests want to see you, be in the company of friends & family and importantly, they want to enjoy themselves!
Consider these facts from Bride & Groom magazine, where couples were specifically asked about their thoughts on wedding entertainment. The couples respones are as follows;-
~ 72% of all brides say they would have spent more time choosing their reception entertainment
~ Almost 100% said they would have spent more of their budget on the entertainment
~ 78% of brides say they would have spent more of their budget on wedding entertainment
~ 81% of guests say the thing they remember the most about the reception is the entertainment
I am sure you would agree that the figures are pretty compelling. If you want your special day to be perfect in every way, then please give careful consideration and budget to booking high quality wedding entertainment.
